How to build confidence

Hello beautiful people! Ever noticed how having self confidence makes you look more beautiful? Having low self confidence can drag you down from reaching your highest potential. But don't worry I have few tips for you all to build/boost your confidence.

Before i tell you how to boost your confidence, first lemme tell you what is confidence. Confidence is not about having a great personality but it's about having faith in yourself. It's simply believing in yourself. Now that you know what is confidence lets hop into the ways by which we can increase/build our confidence.

SELF ACCEPTANCE

You feel more confident when you know who you are, what your flaws are, what your likes and dislikes are, and accept yourself as the way you are.

KEEP FAITH IN YOURSELF

Whenever you are about to do something new or something out of your comfort zone, first take a deep breath and say 'I have faith in myself. I know I can do this no matter what'. Say this to yourself and remember you can do anything that you want.

LET GO OF FEAR OF JUDGEMENT

Remember, others opinion has nothing to do with you but everything to do with them. People's outer world is a reflection of their inner world and you are just acting as a mirror for them. So let go of the fear of judgement and do what you love.

APPRECIATE YOURSELF AND CELEBRATE FOR EVEN THE SMALLEST WIN

Appreciating yourself and celebrating for even the smallest win will help you create your belief and faith system.

AFFIRMATIONS

For those of you who don't know, affirmations are positive statements and with repetitive use of these positive statement you can change your belief system. Affirmations play a major role in building confidence because
  ▪︎ once we make a statement our brain tries to find situations or examples to support that
  ▪︎ your words become your actions and actions become your destiny

START A CONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE FIRST

Try to talk to someone first. This will really help you boost your confidence.

LISTENING TO MUSIC/MOVING YOUR BODY

This is something I always do to boost my confidence. Whenever I know I am going to do something out of my comfort zone, I play a cheerful music and most of the times dance to that. And this helps me feel confident because you know when you feel good you feel more confident.

CORRECT POSTURE

This is something you might have heard several times but this has been proven that your posture can help you feel more confident. Instead of slouching, sit or stand with your heads up and shoulders straight.

PRACTICE

Maybe you are confident in some areas of your life but not at all confident in other areas. So the key to build confidence here is practice. I remember growing up I always had to perform on stage and for the first few times I was really nervous but then with time and practice I built a habit and now I feel confident when I'm on stage.
